The Committee
The Chair
Rachael Russell
I am a mum of 3 and grandma to 1. I am very passionate about the preschool as 2 of my 3 children attended. Even I attended here over 40 years ago. Our preschool has been at the heart of our community for over 50 years and as a member of the committee I am securing its future for another 50 years!

Join Our Preschool Committee – Make a Real Difference!
Did you know our preschool is a registered charity managed by a voluntary committee? We cannot operate without our wonderful team of volunteers, and we are looking for new members to join us!
We meet just once a term for a relaxed catch-up. There are no stuffy boardroom vibes here—just a friendly group of parents chatting over tea, coffee, and plenty of cake or biscuits
Why join us?
- Shape the future: Help make key decisions about your child's preschool experience.
- Boost your CV: Gain valuable skills in fundraising, finance, marketing, or event planning.
- Build community: Meet other local parents and become a vital part of the team.
- Flexible commitment: Meetings are held once a term.
Who are we looking for?
Everyone is welcome! You do not need any specific experience. We just need enthusiastic parents, grandparents, or carers who care about our preschool's future.
Ready to find out more?
Joining the committee is rewarding, fun, and vital for keeping our preschool open. For a casual chat or to ask any questions, please speak to Rachael or Charlotte.
